GHC 2008: Reflections

The conference is over and all of us are eagerly looking forward to the one next year at Tucson. In the meantime, I am sure you must have reflected back on your experience of GHC08 and noted down the goals you achieved or even the ones who could not achieve this year, but hope to do so next year. Would you like to share some of your experiences with us?

Let me offer another choice too! What did you particularly like about this year's GHC? What were the key points you took away from this conference? Contribute and help others learn from you!

    I liked the "workshop day". I was there the day before the conference for the networking workshops, PhD forum, and poster sessions.

    I felt like the conference was 3 days, and that the first day was more relaxed, and I had more of a chance to connect and compare notes.

    Maybe that day should be in the middle, so no one misses it.

    I didn't know about the workshop day with all the PhD forums until after I had booked my tickets - it sounds like so much fun! I'll keep my eyes better peeled for next year for such events!
